Fort Telecom obtained the first European CE certificate for TFortis products

14th of August 2018

We are proud to announce that our first TFortis product – SWU-16 switch – is now CE certified.

European CE certification of Fort Telecom product is a typical requirement of foreign customers. The process of certification is long and challenging, because it involves checking the entire declared functionality of the equipment and its compliance with safety and electromagnetic standards.

The certificate proves that the product complies with the basic requirements of the EU directives and its harmonized standards, and that the product has passed the conformity assessment procedure with the directives. CE marking confirms that the product is safe for the health of its consumers and is environmentally friendly.

TFortis equipment manufactured by Fort Telecom has passed a number of successful tests. SWU-16 Switch received two CE certificates: to confirm its compatibility with low voltage equipment and its electromagnetic compatibility.

A few other TFortis outdoor switches will soon be certified according to European standards to ensure that the whole product range exported overseas complies with the international requirements.

In September this year, Fort Telecom will present the certified TFortis devices at the Exhibition Security Essen 2018 in Germany.
