Fort Telecom got the third type-approval certificate of transport infrastructure security systems

9th of May 2018

Fort Telecom became the holder of the third certificate of compliance of transport infrastructure security systems — communication, data reception and transfer systems. The certificate was issued upon successful completion of tests of the following two models of PSW switches:  PSW-2G6F+ and PSW-2G+.

Fort Telecom is continuing certification of its switches based on the needs and expectations of video systems integrators who use TFortis solutions for transport infrastructure. Previously, five other models of PSW switches had been tested (PSW-1G4F-UPSPSW-2G4F-UPSPSW-2G2F+UPSPSW-1G4F and PSW-2G4F). They all demonstrated high reliability and compliance with technical requirements.

According to the RF government resolution No. 969, since March 2017 all objects of the transport infrastructure, such as airports and railway stations, have to be equipped with certified telecommunications equipment. Fort Telecom became the first company to receive the certificate.
