Fort Telecom at INTERSEC trade fair in Dubai

31st of January 2018

On 21-23 January 2018, Fort Telecom took part in INTERSEC, the world's leading trade fair for Security, Safety and Fire Protection, which was held for the 20th time in Dubai, UAE. At the trade fair, Fort Telecom presented its solutions for the construction of unattended IP video surveillance systems, fleet management systems, and ERA-GLONASS/eCall equipment.

INTERSEC is the most important business platform worldwide and the no. 1 in the MENA region. Every year it attracts delegates from Europe, Asia and the USA.

Particular focus was made on TFortis equipment for IP video surveillance. Fort Telecom presented PSW-2G4F-Hot switch designed for operation at high temperatures up to 85 °C.

"Our products are highly demanded here," says Julia Brown, Head of International Activities at Fort Telecom. "This is a huge security market, in which TFortis solutions are indeed revolutionary – they are fully integrated and ready to operate. Nothing similar is available in the same price segment. This is a significant growth opportunity for us. We are planning to further upgrade TFortis product range to make it suitable for hot climates."

Fort Telecom Business Development Director, Vladimir Makarenko, notes "This is our second exhibition in Dubai in the last 4 months. Several dozen companies from at least 8 countries have demonstrated keen interest in Fort Telecom equipment. We are now negotiating an agreement to establish a distribution center for Fort Telecom products with offices in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Pakistan and India. This is a very promising market, and what we are seeing today is just the first step for us."
