City landmarks attract locals and trourists, but they often need protection from vandals.

Recently TFortis switches were installed on the Kama river bank to protect the art object of Boris Matrosov, "Happiness in not far away". This sign has become a symbol of Perm city, Russia. Locals and visitors to the city take pictures and make videos against the background of the sign. You can find magnets and souvenirs with its image.

At the end of last year, a local street artist Aleskey Ilkaev replaced the word "happiness" for "death", which caused a strong negative reaction from the city residents and outside the city.

After that, Perm city administration decided to create a video surveillance system to ensure security of the art object.

Video surveillance cameras and outdoor switches TFortis PSW-2G+ were used for the system. At the moment, the sign "Happiness is not far away" has been fully restored and is securely monitored by TFortis.
