TFortis switches are used as part of video surveillance system at Perm Railway Station

29th of May 2019

Perm is an important transport hub for Russia. Every day Perm Railway Station services over 130 trains and thousands of passengers.

Since March 2017, according to the Russian Federation government resolution No. 969, all objects of the transport infrastructure, such as airports and railway stations, have to be equipped with certified telecommunications equipment.

Fort Telecom became the first company to pass the full cycle of certificate for compliance to transport security requirements — all managed switches TFortis have positive test conclusions.

This is why they were chosen to provide the security of Perm Railway Station. In addition, they can be used outdoor and have the required functionality. Besides, this equipment is locally manufactured, which was another reason to use it.
