Control of temperature and humidity inside TFortis PSW switches

In some projects, customers require temperature and humidity control inside cabinets. To monitor them, Fort-Telecom developed SHT-01 temperature and humidity sensor.

The sensor can be used with the following TFortis PSW switches: PSW-2G+; PSW-2G+UPS-Box; PSW-2G6F+; PSW-2G6F+UPS-Box; PSW-2G8F+; PSW-2G8F+UPS-Box.

Note that the temperature and humidity sensor is supplied separately and installed by the customer during system installation.

The installation procedure is simple. The sensor is connected to the dedicated I2C connector on the switch board.

After installation, the user can configure the threshold values and view the current values via the web interface. To do that, go to menu Statistics---Device Info.

The user may configure gathering current data via the SNMP protocol and system response to exceeding of the threshold values in the monitoring system.

The user can also set up distribution of alarm messages via Syslog or SMPT protocols. For more details, see Configuration Manual.

The new functions of temperature and humidity control as well as the existing function of unauthorized opening monitoring will ensure complete control over the switch operation.
